Murat Turna
Practising architecture professionally since 1997, Murat Turna works from Ataköy, Istanbul on hotels, residential projects and the renovation of existing spaces. His architectural work is considered alongside project management and digital tool development.
Biography
After completing his architectural education abroad, Murat Turna took part in airport, theatre and cinema projects. Hotel construction and work on hotel spaces form a substantial part of his professional experience. He has also worked on hotel projects in Malta. Alongside architecture, his interests include architectural perspective, portrait and drone photography.
Professional background
He served as Project Manager on the Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul Golden Horn project and participated in technical coordination for its kitchen and service areas. He prepared the complete architectural design for Yalova Thermal Hotel. The ongoing renovation design at All Seasons Hotel considers the bar, breakfast and service areas together.
